The RAS47 is a 100% American-made AK rifle with multiple upgraded features over foreign made variants. The 1/16" stamped 4140 steel receiver and 4150 chrome moly barrel have a black nitride metal finish. The 16.5" barrel has a 1:10" twist and a slant brake. The muzzle has a concentric LH 14x1 metric thread. It has an RAK-1 enhanced trigger group, larger T-shaped magazine catch, standard AKM sights, retaining plate, and bolt hold-open notch on the safety selector. The bolt carrier tail is heat-treated to ensure maximum performance and life. The RAS47 has the first AK side scope rail mount to offer a return to zero capability, four times clamping improvement over traditional rails, and improves sight acquisition for follow-up shots. The RAS47 accepts all standard AK magazines and is compatible with AKM features and after market components. This RAS47 polymer model comes with one 30-round magazine and has a black synthetic buttstock and handguard.
